I have tons of scandinavian relatives in Minnesota—None like lutefisk, though some, in classic stoic form, still eat it.Some people like lutefisk.
They're also concentrated in the upper midwest.
Yet on that vote, and every other vote, you don’t get the option of voting 50% one guy and 50% the other. But this year they said voters voted that way. Wut?To those that may not know about WIN's past transparency, here's their article when DT won the Hodge in 2014. At the end is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place votes for the top eight vote-getters.
Why so secret this year? At the very least it looks suspicious, at the very most they ARE hiding something.

That must be filed through the Department of Redundancy Department!I’d like to register a complaint against those that complain about complainers.
WIN Magazine must be run by people from the NCAA and BIG. They are as transparent as a brick wall and love changing rules on the fly.I think having a tie is fine, but when Win Magazine changes its criteria on the fly, they demean the award and undermine their credibility. Every year Win posts the actual vote totals, except this year--this year they selectively chose which first-place vote totals to release. If Win wanted to provide for the possibility of a tie based on a statistical "dead heat," they should've done so in advance. But by calling an audible and setting aside the actual vote in favor of a committee decision, they prompt the question: why even have a vote at all?
Seems they've taken half a step towards it becoming a popularity award. It was a tough call in 2019, and a tough call this year. This is a numbers game, most voting points wins -- a simple standard has worked for years.Yet on that vote, and every other vote, you don’t get the option of voting 50% one guy and 50% the other. Agree, crayon simple. And it won't happen. The damage is done, unfortunately.Seems they've taken half a step towards it becoming a popularity award. It was a tough call in 2019, and a tough call this year. This is a numbers game, most voting points wins -- a simple standard has worked for years.
Not everyone will agree, but the numbers are what gives the award credibility.
Share the voting results, WIN.
