From what I've heard the Fiesta Bowl is second to none when it comes to the fan festivities, having been to the Rose & Orange Bowl within the past 11 years, I'm excited to see how the Fiesta compares.

Leaving from Pittsburgh later this afternoon. We have 12+ or so (and MaconNitt will be meeting up with us as well). Rose Bowl last year was a great trip (with the exception of a few minutes at the end of the game ). Haven't been to the Orange. Went to other minor bowl games...always have a good time with our friends - old and new!

Still thinking of cashing in frequent flyer miles and heading out later this afternoon or the first flight out tomorrow, which will land 5 hours before kick off.

Airlines will be asking a king's ransom for ff miles into Phoenix for a flight to and from the NE on short notice today/this weekend. Just my opinion (from someone who is sitting in Scottsdale right now), if you don't have the ability to make it an extended visit to enjoy the weather, the area and its sights, I would wait and cash them in for a longer visit sometime in the next month or two when the NJ winter weather becomes a real burden! As much as we love the Lions, this game isn't that big of a deal as compared to a conference championship, CFP game, or national championship. Good luck!
