Run D Sucks

Footing is tough for both Defenses. This is a tough game to make anything of stats....weather sucks.
Last time Pitt had much rushing yards in a half was PSU 2016 and that season went ok.
I think this D will improve alot over the season atleast I hope so.

Franklin made a good move changing LB's. The guy that was out there was a stiff. Hopefully this change will make a difference in 2h.
Some combination of Parsons, Brooks, Miller, and Luketa is very well going to be our best LB group.
Additionally, we got to play responsibility on assignments and quit following our eyes. Pitt's misdirection has drawn us away and Pitt has had Nissan Titan sized holes.

The defense seems to have begun to adjust late in the 1st half and all of the 3rd quarter so far. The offense is an RPO playing in the rain, not a good combination but Pitttttt is self destructing and we are putting a better running game together as the game goes on. All good signs. As a wise man said. A team improves the most between the 1st and 2nd games of the season. Right now the score is 37 to 6, I'd say that portends improvement. I'm not predicting an undefeated season but they are young, talented and have much to learn concerning the speed and technical analysis of the college game. They have shown improvement in the 2nd week and I expect will continue to show improvement barring crippling injuries.
Yeah, 37-6 really sucks. Guess it should be 50-0 for you to be happy?
