Yeah, he took the guy down easily in the first. Only committed to grappling attack with 2 minutes left and didn’t have enough gas to do any damage.

Split decision win for Ed. He ate some huge shots but kept coming forward. Used his wrestling at the end to control the end of the fight and got the W.

They said to slow down the fast twitch guy move forward to get him tired. I can’t believe a good takedown and some ground and pound wouldn’t do the same. They were so sweaty at the end Ruth did a good job to even stay on top.

Honestly, I don't know how Ed won that fight. I thought he lost rounds 1 and 3. Round 1 wasn't even close. He kept coming in round 3 but dropped after taking a good blow to the head. I don't watch much MMA so what do I know. Phil was dominant.

Just a damn shame. Really disappointed. 1/5 stars, would not recommend.
