  • Milton alums are doing well. Ryan Preisch is ranked 4th and looking great.
  • This weekend it was Ryan Solomon knocking off #4 Kasper of Duke. Congrats Black Panthers on a Job well done and keeps Nick Nevilles away from Snyder until the finals as some had Kasper ranked 3rd.

Enormous. Nick wrestles like he is capable, he can make the finals on Saturday night in St Louis. Another crack at Medberry also in two weeks, win that one and he gets the 2 seed. Either way, no Snyder until the finals.

Gotta pump the brakes a little. Yes, if he beats Medbery in the B10 semis, he's no worse than a 3 seed, probably the #2 seed, and avoids Snyder until the national finals.

However, if he doesn't, he'll have 3 losses. If Walz wins ACCs, he'll have 2 losses -- one in OT to Medbery, and would have likely avenged the loss to Kasper. I personally would still seed Nevills 3rd, but would not assume the seeding committee keeps him ahead of Walz in that scenario.

Just think the seeding committee is too unpredictable to make assume what they'll do in a close case.

It's a close call. Let's beat Medbery and make it a no brainer.

Very happy for Ryan, as he was my Hwt. on our youth dual teams when he was in 8th Grade. He's a great kid! We had him, then Jordan Wood for our Hwts. Very blessed to have the opportunity to coach both of them.
