I think it goes back to some discussions that we all had in the Allar thread. QB need to stay in college longer. Darnold was only 20-21 when he came into nfl. No matter the talent it’s hard to be ready for nfl at that age at QB.

Uuhhh Barkley had a pretty weak o line. And a weak passing attack to take the pressure away.

If a team concentrated on stopping KJ Carter the passing attack would kill them.

Agree strongly that the OL was weak. Saquon was having to juke defenders in the backfield on the majority of carries.

Disagree that the passing game was weak. McSorley throwing to Godwin, Hamilton, and Geaicki was a good passing game. McSorley led the conference in passing yds and TDs in 2016.

Good passing attack but not Kerry Collins, Engram, Scott, Archie, Kyle Brady.

That team could have been a deadly pass attack if it weren’t for Carter snd Paterno,

Your post was crazy. OK, I am sure you'll argue that your post was not crazy but perhaps deranged, especially as manifested in a wild or aggressive way. Maybe just over-enthusiastic or extreme.

Besides I totally agree with him. That game got him into the upper part of the first round. It showed his potential. He sucked for the Jets. The Panthers traded for him not because he played well for the jets but because he showed potential in college. he washed out there then washed out again for the 49ers. Why do people keep signing him? Because he showed potentail in college, mostly in that rose bowl under the brightest of lights. I agree, it is less and less impactful as he builds a resume but he'd have long been forgotten if he didn't play well for USC in that game and got drafted in the 4th round back in 2018.

Anyone who plays for the Jets usually sucks because it's the Jets!
