The kid is a stud. The most annoying thing is there are still articles saying as good as he was this year the Giants made a mistake not taking a QB. Barkley was the best player in the draft. if he doesn't win ROY then awards should cease to exist.
And Darnold is the guy they’re saying the Giants should have taken. Really? Sam Darnold? Please.
They need to draft Grier or get a FA. If they go with Eli again, they’re looking at another five win season.
They're going with Eli in 2019. If they draft a QB it will be Daniel Jones, Clayton Thorson or Ryan Finley. They fit Gettleman's MO and won't be a first round pick. Probably 3rd round.
None of those three will even be in the ball park as Grier. And you’re the only person I’ve seen that has Thorson anywhere near the top QB’s this year. But that’s not surprising.

You like Grier more than most. Although we agree that Grier is better than those three. It's just not how Gettleman drafts.
If they could find a way, Barkley and Haskins would be ridiculous.
I’ve watched Grier play a lot in the last two years....he’s really good. I’m way more impressed with him than any of the other QB’s this year. I also think he’s a better passer than last year’s group.
I don't disagree with you. If I was going to take a QB in this draft it would be Grier. I don't believe any of the QBs last year were with a first round pick though nor do I believe any are worth a first round pick this year. Gettleman stays with the board. He won't reach. That's why I said Jones, Thorson or Finley not because I think they're better just because they'll be "more reasonable" when it comes to staying to the board.
They can probably get McSorley as a UFA. He'd be better than any of those options.
Although Grier may help himself at the combine and the senior bowl. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the top of the board when it’s all said and done. I think playing for WVU hurt him this year.
Yeah, Trace isn't close to any of those three in terms of ability. Trace will be lucky to make a roster. Those three are pretty much locks.
It makes me realize how blessed we were to have him at PSU. The fact that he played in the Fiesta bowl last year, when all the other future top draft picks are sitting out the bowls, shows how much of an unselfish person and team first player Saquon is. I think he was splitting time with Miles in that game because Franklin didn't want to over use him but I think Saquon would've played every down if we needed him to.
