That's the point. Make up crap and throw out names of dead and incapacitated people. Epic BS. National media with collective brain power of a hamster. That's pretty convenient.

It's logical to Sara. She's a sharp tool in the shed.Do I have this right? A guy who owned a bowling alley didn't call the police. Instead he called Joe & Tarman and put his adopted kid on the phone to talk with them about what happened even though he knew they would never call the police.
Am I missing something here?
Yep. These people were concerned enough to do something, yet that something was to call the football program and just you know, let them decide what should happen. Makes total sense.Do I have this right? A guy who owned a bowling alley didn't call the police. She is one hell of a fiction writer.
I was being sarcastic. But can't disagree. That's just it, she isn't. This article is written like it's for a high school newspaper. She's a stenographer and a poor one at that.
I'm sure Joe would give his name over the phone and then threaten to report him to the police haha. "So Mr Police Man, some guy named Joe threatened me and intimidated me..."a congested hummingbird would smell the stench that Sara spews.Yep. why does Ganim hate Paterno and Penn State so much?

Why would he say such things about someone "who has done so many good things?" It was 1971, before Second Mile, and he had already done "so many good things?" Huh?
Great catch. If this doesn't raise some eyebrows nothing will. What a fabrication. Why would he say such things about someone "who has done so many good things?" It was 1971, before Second Mile, and he had already done "so many good things?" Huh?
That would require the fine folks that run PSU to have a spine...Nice find there Chris...I think this is a situation where PSU should push back on cnn
Ganim's story that broke the scandal in March 2011 didn't even get the year right that V1 came forward. #FraudLOL! Respected Paterno until 2011! Way to go Ganim! Way to vet your sources!
He also blew the kid so he wasn't agreeing to any interview. What about the state trooper in the story?
It goes to show you how desperate she really is.ChiTown is the Jack Nicklaus of Twitter. He's that good.
I think that rare catch of Bernie started by him ridiculing JZ over something and Nams and I just went at him and he spit that beauty out. He's a known nut case and I think our sara is going to regret this one.
The media is mad at US - JZ, RMB, KS, Wen, Simons, you, me, all the normal people on this board and everywhere else that have called them what they are. They are lashing out at US. Nice to be able to hit back once in awhile.
He insisted that he "made it very clear" it was a sexual attack.
And then all hell broke loose.
"They were asking me my motive, why I would say this about someone who has done so many good things."
.....her husband -- who owned a local bowling alley and knew many high-ranking school officials -- called Penn State against his wishes. "I was blindsided," he said, adding that his foster father told him, "I assure you the police won't be called, but you gotta tell these people what happened."....
The men on the phone had introduced themselves as Jim and Joe, he said. He had no idea who Jim was, and can't, to this day, say for sure.
"There was no question in my mind who Joe was," he said. "I've heard that voice a million times. It was Joe Paterno."
This guy's claims are such clear bull$hit following all "the script" to a tee:
Gee where have we heard that one before?
Huh? Sandusky had only just come back to PSU from Boston U a year and one-half earlier as the article references earlier. Sandusky had not founded any of his philanthropic endeavors yet - this sounds almost like a word for word replay of what this guy likely read about what the Central Mountain High School Administrators told V1 when he attempted to make a CSA report to them. Sandusky was a no-name in 1971 - this quote is so clearly scripted it isn't even funny.
WTF?!?! So his dad is some super influential local businessman and "knew many high ranking school officials" because he owned a Bowling Alley??? BTW, in 1971 who would describe Joe as a "high ranking school official"??? This was a very different era and Football Coaches did not command the salaries, revenues or authorities that today's coaches do - beyond that, JVP would only be entering his 6th year as Head Coach. The characterizations used here are so obviously crafted and scripted to many of the things said in the a Presentment and trials it isn't even funny. So the big-wig influential Bowling Alley magnate puts him on the phone with "these men" after telling him "I assure you the police won't be called, but you gotta tell these people what happened." - these people again??? Then, he gets on the phone with "Jim and Joe".....had no idea who they were, they didn't identify themselves.....doesn't know who one of them is, but knows for sure one of them is "Joe Paterno"??? What freaking nonsense - yea, I'm sure his foster-dad just set up conference calls with Joe Paterno at will??? Beyond that, why would his step-dad call Joe Paterno of all people to report that his child had been raped??? F'ing bizarre and clearly made up bull$hit given how scripted it is.

In the name of objectivity, Joe did have that little 30 game unbeaten streak that was ended in 1970. He was a very hot coach in 1971.
And then all hell broke loose.

Especially the part where the guy said that the response from PSU was good could you say that about someone who has done so many good things - he forgot that at that point in time I don't think JS had done many good things yet. That might have been the response many years later but not at that point. HmmmWow. That's not even good fiction. They have to work on that story more. It honestly reads like someone wanted to concoct the most basic JoePa villain story. He not only berates the kid but says he would call the police and doesn't. Sure. Right.
Wonder if they'll find a Jim to corroborate.
Right, and Jerry played basically no role in it, so why would he cover for the guy?In the name of objectivity, Joe did have that little 30 game unbeaten streak that was ended in 1970. He was a very hot coach in 1971.
Exactly - just got done posting similar thing. I read that part and am thinking this didn't make sense. Unbelievable people can just say whatever they want and some dumb a... Gets to publish it in national news without anything to substantiate it.In the name of objectivity what? Nobody would have referred to JVP as a "high ranking school official". BTW, you still have explained:
Why would "these guys" completely undisclosed other than "Joe and Jim" say that about Sandusky when he had only returned to PSU a year and one-half earlier, was a complete no-name as a coach and he had yet to initiate any of his supposedly philanthropic endeavors with DPW yet genius.
Given Ganim's stellar sources the PSP Trooper was probably a regular on the Thailand sex junkets. Thus Sara could describe him "as an expert in the field"What about the state trooper in the story?
