Trace under center with a power I on 3rd and short.
Trace tosses a lateral to Tommy who tosses another to Saquon who throws a bomb to Tommy. TD every time.
We haven't run Barkley outside the tackles since the Iowa game. It returns in two weeks vs Michigan.
Sorry, not buying it. This offense is not designed for a RB. Only reason we are getting positive yards at all is cause Barkley is that damn good. We are in serious trouble when we face a team with good/great DT’s (OSU and Mich). If you wanna be a top 4 team you need to run the ball inside the 10 yard line. So far this season that is not happening.
I don't think it has to do with film. It has more to do with tendencies. I don't think we try the inside zone against Michigan repeatedly. They can't exactly blow it up any worse than NW and Indiana have the last two weeks. However, I think the plan vs Michigan will be to keep them guessing.
Or Moorhead is simply insane. Take your pick.
Fordham's and Susquehanna Twp.'s Chase Edmonds has run for 5,483 yards in the same offense, with a season high of 1838.
Chase is a senior now.
We convert from the RPO to the PRO vs. Meat with the emphasis on pass first, run second. Heck, even throw in the empty back sets with SB in the slot. That will shake them up.
We ran inside zone today?? I think I'll have to rewatch the game. I see very little zone blocking
I really don't believe they've shown everything. They do what they have to do against the competition put in front of them. Pretty damn good play considering this...However, we won't know for 2 weeks.

almost every game has been a struggle - especially on OFF, and we needed the last play of the game to beat Iowa. why would anyone be holding back?
The Buckeyes and the Wolverines both have good teams, but the Michigan defense is as stout as they come.
Iowa was a struggle. I give you that, but that was more the environment (which I really believe will only help moving forward btw). As far as the others... nah... but as always, we shall see.
