I peek over there every once in a while because half of their starters come from a 90-minute radius of my house. But there's too much hate to wade through and too little substance on the local guys to even bother.

Interesting that cheating is being talked about on HR. Iowa built the dynasty by cheating the scholly situation (fact), so it seems to the average idiot on HR that is the only path to victory. The current Iowa coaching staff, M* in particular, will stop at nothing when it comes to telling not so white lies to recruits. There are some very shady things going on in Iowa City in terms of money and special favors from certain boosters to recruits. The stuff will come out sooner than later as too many people know. Shady people and shady coaches.

That board is precious, it really is. It used to piss me off but now I wouldn't change it for the world. It's great entertainment. Every day it's a new excuse or new accusation. I'm sure climate change will be the next reason used.

Said this before, but HR is roughly equal parts passion (to their credit), extreme delusion, and corrosive bitterness. Mix it all together and you get repeated hours of entertainment that just isn't available anywhere else.
Of late, however, the delusion has ebbed a bit and been replaced by even more bitterness, and even more hatred for Sanderson, which appears really deep-rooted.

Anonymous people posting on an anonymous message board. People over here get their panties in a bunch over what the same 6 or so posters have been saying over and over for years.
A bunch of Iowa State, UNI, Minnesota, Northwestern cat guys, Penn State trolls everywhere are randomly poking and prodding over there right quite a bit lately. Several of those Penn State threads where posted by non Iowa fans.
This year seems to be worse than usual on both boards.
