Klimara with a tech fall for OSU
Lizak (UA-Minny) defeats #6 seed Connor Schram of Stanford 8-2 in a former battle of PA wrestlers

Fellas, I think we have our answer on Gulibon at 141, loses 4-3 in first round of Scuffle. Same old, couldn't finish shots

The enigma in on 4 singles and cant convert them to points. ugh.

No disrepect to cortland but hes not an AA this year. Well see how the enigma does in the wrestle backs. maybe for the team race, if he gets some needed bonus and doesnt mail it in, could be helpful. I say that because I had him losing to mckenna anyway.

Careful, if you say anything at all critical of Gulibon, you'll be accused of making him a "whipping boy" and being negative and "unsupportive" of our boys.

That wasn't my experience. I actually posted that Jimmy would lose to Solomon Chishko and never got chastised for doing so.

Ridiculous to get in that many times and not finish. He did it all last year too but was strong enough at 133 to get out of some bad spots. His conversion percentage when he gets to legs is absolutely awful. Terrible showing

Well, I had the temerity to suggest that there may be some concern about Jimmy early in the year and I got lambasted. I wasn't even all that critical, just saying I was slightly concerned from early results.

That said, there is still a lot of time in the season, perhaps he'll get it going and peak at the right time in March.

That kid doesn't even start for Lehigh at 141 I don't believe

Sorry to hear that. Jimmy is such a good kid, but he is so inconsistent, it drives you bonkers.

JoJo Smith with a pin at 157...wrestling unattached for OSU. Will be a good match for Nolf in the finals if he can get by Luke Smith who he has already beaten.

Zach Beitz with another win at 157, 4-1.

What a warrior. I feel so badly for kids like this that just can't crack the lineup because they have a super stud in front of them, but do everything you ask of them.
