Johnson loses 3-2...PSU with at least 1 wrestler in the rd. of 16 in all weight classes but 285.
Jimmy wins 8-4 against an unseeded kid in consys. A win is a win, but another lackluster performance. Jimmy needs to get out of his own head...
Agree. He looks like he's wrestling not to lose, like he's afraid to cut loose because he might make a mistake.
I think he re-injured his ankle too....That will really hurt the team points if he can't go at all....

Not giving up on Jimmy...It's just very frustrating watching him this year....I think he needs to use a good duck under when down by a point...That would help open up his shots....HE MUST GET MORE DETERMINATION TO FINISH !
So he needs to add a move for when he's behind, that typically works best when opponents come forward? Great strategy. Wonder why Cael didn't think of this.

I hear you bro. I caught some flack (or at least relatively strong disagreement) when I said that Gulibon was dominated by McKenna (the match was not nearly as close as the final score indicated) and then some dude jumped all over me when I offered the opinion that Gulibon would be a underdog against Micah Jordan. Might have been on the FOS board. So I get where you're coming from ...
That said, like you I sure hope that Gulibon can figure some stuff out and get going later on. I'm just not real optimistic at this point, as his repeated difficulty finishing good shots into TDs makes me think he's just not cut out for 141. But hopefully he can prove me wrong.
