U-dub was 6-6 (got absolutely pasted by PSU) and gave 8-4 Louisville, an lower-tier ACC team everything they could handle. USCe is arguably the hottest team in the SEC and Illinois (another team PSU pasted pretty good) is beating them 21-17 with only 5 1/2 minutes remaining. And Bama laid an absolute egg against a bad scUM team with absolutely zero offense (Bama managed to prove that if Milroe is the best QB they can field, they are a complete pretender / paper-tiger as far as the National Championship. Milroe was the Offensive MVP in the game but..... for scUM, not Alabama!).

It does bode well for P$U. After beating boise would you rather play Georgia or ND? Who do you think P$U matches up better with?

Big 10 whooping up on the SEC

Michigan over Bama
Illinois over south Carolina
USC over A&M

Iowa gave ranked Missouri all they could handle.

Okay...I'm sorry but you're usually logical lol
You believe that these bowl games tell is anything about the next 7 playoff games?

I'd rather play Georgia.

Yea, think I agree. ND's Offense is eminently unstoppable, but their Defense looks seriously for real. UGa v ND is going to probably be a low-scoring affair - hopefully, UGa gets the right bounce or gets the deciding TO that usually decides these low-scoring games because ND is the bigger threat of the two imho.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. The bottom line is you have to beat the best to be the best.

Thanks for that obvious cliche Captain Obvious - but please do explain how the B1G's performance in many of these Bowls doesn't show PSU's record in a better light? PSU crushed Illinois who is now 10-3, beat the hottest team in the SEC and will be Solidly in the Top 15 of the AP Final Poll.

For all the griping about PSU “not playing anyone”, Illinois is 10-3 and likely going to end the season ranked in the top 15
