I've impressed so far with Clifford but let's be honest, his big test will come on Nov. 13 when he has to face Jim and his Big Blue wrecking machine. I've watched them play a couple of times this year and , my God, is their defense suffocating. Has the potential to be one of the best college defenses in many, many years

It looked to me like the guy blocking in front of PW couldn’t hold his line and as a result PW had to get too close to the sideline.

I thought it was interesting when Bob Stoops called him an elite coach, but also when Stoops kept referring to his offense as "Air raid" before the Wisconsin game. Interesting because of all this angst going on about the Penn State running game. To me it feels like Ol Miss or Mike Leach fans complaining about the running game.

Bob also called him "Jim" Yurcich.

Its sad that some can't just come out and say the Clifford is a very good quarterback. The kid has talent. Say it!
Clifford went to work in the off season and he didn't quit on himself or psu. The same can't be said for many of the "faithful" here......they quit on Cliff.

Most definitely. I haven't really made up my mind yet if he has an NFL career but he's a solid - very good CF QB

I'm not stepping into the deep water yet. Lot's of very good college QBs are not NFL QBs. If he keeps playing near this level, he will certainly get a look.
