My guess is that whoever put the roster together just messed up.
Only other options are that he is walking on (doubtful, as he has several FBS offers including Ms St, UTenn and Vandy from the SEC, and WSU from his home state) or got an offer that nobody else knows about (also doubtful).

That would be my guess as well. However, one never knows. We don't get a lot of kids from FL but I think we'd make room for a LB/DE if he was interested.

I understand that, but when a kid spends most of his life in one place and then one year someplace else, I consider him to be "from" where he spent most of his life. It's not as if the rest of his family has permanently relocated to Florida.
OK...won't argue the point. many consider it to be from were ever his "last place" was. I don't really care.
Using that definition, every kid who plays football for Penn State is "from" Pennsylvania.
That's what they say when being introduced on the NFL! Plus, people that are army rats would be from "Germany". But whatevs...
