I remember making a similar comment and was not trying to be hyperbolic.
Or as simple as Carter has an abrasive personality that rubs a lot of people the wrong way. I don't think it bothers Carter when people don't like him, so why should we care?

So? People are allowed to not like other people. I don't think I'd like Carter if I knew him either. Doesn't seem to bother him, so I don't see the point in worrying about it.

I’m obviously not his teammate or anything but I will say that Carter’s “meet and greet” personality is NOTHING like his online public persona. Very respectful, soft spoken, and well, downright kind—in my experience.

Tying it to good guys winning is funny. By all accounts off the mat he’s a good guy and his opponent gave him props after the match she cited.

If Carter and Beau don't like each other (I am drawing a conclusion based on the fact Beau's wife had no issues putting out her post) then that would be absolutely shocking to me, never ever have teammates (and a bunch of alpha personalities) maybe not been the best of friends outside their sport.

But I also think I pretty effectively demonstrated it was the right call according to the rules of freestyle. I'm not going to apologize for discussing wrestling on a wrestling forum. You guys are so emotional that you think any argument that goes against a PSU wrestler is hating - even when it's in support of another PSU wrestler.

I 100% agree with you that all boards are like this. It is a shame and very annoying at times.
I do have another account that I visit the Iowa board with since they banned me for no good reason other than I am a PSU fan. I have no trouble at all over there with any body saying the same exact things I would say no matter what....annoying!

It’s the off-season, man. We get wrestling like once a month. Have to pass the time.
BB strikes me as a guy who will sit you at *his* restaurant in 20 years, talk to you for 15min, and not tell you it’s his place. You’ll never know his name until you look him up. You won’t have any clue he was a world U20 medalist, 3x AA, or that he wrestled at Penn State.

Nobody wins. but unfortunately that's what a large part of our society has become. A petty bickering crowd of middle school gossipers, and and a bunch of posturing, attention grabbing fools. And social media was supposed to connect us. Better to just ignore it. Social media has many positive aspects, unfortunately the fools rule.
