First of all, we are all in pain right now lol. This was an incredibly flat performance against a team that literally played a perfect game and we still almost found a way to win. I know...Captain Obvious!
BUT, we were always going to have to beat Ohio State to make the Big Ten Championship game anyway. In a crazy way, this loss will likely refocus our team and take some pressure off of them. IMO, they will be angry as f#ck and play Ohio State hard. Maybe I’m delusional, but I think this loss will reinvigorate our team, especially considering we STILL control our destiny.
We beat OSU, then beat Minnesota in a rematch, we are in. How are we not? Again, beating OSU was never going to be easy but beating them and Minnesota for the BIG championship gets us in the playoff.
