We played an SDSU team that many thought could be a trap game for us before the season started. Yes they sucked prior to this game, but they played better than they have been today.
Yes, Hack missed probably 3 touchdown passes. He also had 3 touchdown passes. Had his best game of the year.
Defense truly only gave up one bad score. Kick off return isn't on them and a muffed punt gave SDSU a short field. I understand these things can't happen in B1G play but let's not pretend SDSU offense dominated today.
I realize our offense got their fair share of breaks, but that's going to happen. Yes there were questionable play calls and questionable line play, but give me a break. Anyone who expected OSU type play this year was misleading themselves. We have a good chance of being at worst 4-2 going into Ohio State, maybe 5-1.
The team is winning, and even though its subpar opponents at this point, winning is really all that matters.
