Prayers sent for the best possible outcome.......don't think me insensitive but sometimes we need to think of the suffering of the patient and put others second. It sounds terrible but I've been there as an RN and while looking back in my grieving I realized that I was being selfish in prolonging someone else's suffering with no hope other than a miracle. So I wish you and everyone involved a miracle, failing that I wish the best for your brother-in-law, no matter what the best is.
