When Miller jumped offsides on Iowa's 4th and 1 play, he was clearly pissed at Parsons. I haven't seen that play discussed in any detail, but I did read one post saying that it was Parsons' fault. Parsons came up to the line of scrimmage before the snap and tapped Miller's butt, and that seemed to prompt Miller's premature jump across the line. I'm curious what happened on that play. Was Parson's tap a signal to go, or did Miller just react instinctively to what he thought was a teammate engaging in the play? I've never known that D linemen ever begin their attack based on anything other than what they see and hear for themselves, so if that's the case I just learned something. Was Miller's frustration with Parsons justified?
