The announcer says "making no mention of Penn State. Read into that what you like"

Dan, if you look at Geno's full letter posted earlier today, he takes the time to thank everyone at Penn State from Joe Paterno for recruiting him to the academic advisors he had while at PS. O'Brien, Franklin, trainers, and so on.
The question Chickenman is asking (I think) is why didn't BTN mention the entire letter? Why report he is transferring and make the statement Chickenman quoted above.
Shocking, I know, but some poor new reporting IMO.

OK, but the OP was complaining about the "read into that" comment, which let me to believe that he felt the announcer was implying that his transfer may mean there was something negative going on at Penn State.

Why doesn't someone send the BTN announcer Lewis's letter and tell him he can "read into that" what he likes? Then he might figure out that his snide remark and its implication is proof that he's too lazy or too vindictive to do his homework before he disparages PSU.
