Would be a massive pickup for you guys. Definitely widen the gap. Lee was going to help close it for us/Hawks but this may negate that.

"So you are saying there is a chance!" Hope the kid makes the best decision for his future. Love to cheer for him in the blue and white.....

Man if Cael and company pull this one off I'll be shocked....I have to admit, when Lee & Gavin went the other way on the same day I was pretty bummed out...convincing this kid to leave his old mans alma mater, buddy, & home would be very surprising....sprinkle a little Whitlake on top and I'm good for a while...kids supposedly not announcing until NLOI day in November on Flow so it's still early...none the less, nice too see.

Sprinkle a little Gable Stevenson on top too.

One would have to assume Mark Hall bent Fix's ear a bunch a few weeks ago in France.

If Cael pulls this off, you'd have to assume Hall would get an assist on Cael's goal. Similar to how DT helped to land Bo Nickal.

Since Franklin has the bat signal, what does Cael have? Or can he borrow it for special occasions?

Would be a great get. I still feel OSU is the favorite but Cael has some magic. Smith is a light weight two time gold medal winner, so I gotta give him the edge.

Results suggest that OSU has been no better at 125 and 133 then the other top teams, in fact I think a valid argument can be made that they are a step behind a few of them.

I have a question about Gable Stevenson. I know he's the #1 recruit listed for Jr class. But Seth Nevills is also in that class and both will be Hwts. Can't see Cael making major offers for both. Also don't believe Cael would not go after the 3rd Nevills, one that is very talented! Where does Stevenson fit in? Very strange thing to say about the #1 overall recruit in his class!

As far as training partners go, tOSU would give Fix the likes of Pletcher, NaTo and Stieber to train with. PSU gives him Suriano, Nico and Frank. UNC gives him Headlee, Ramos and Coleman Scott...not sure Ok St gives him much better options, but OK St would obviously not be a bad choice either.

Let's actually see Pletcher wrestle a few matches as a starter before we count him among top training partners: Right now, he is not a starter at Ohio State.

I agree about Pletcher. Also, don't forget to add Gomez to the mix of PSU partners.

Two weeks ago, A2S listed guys Cael called on 9/1 -- the first day coaches were allowed to contact HS juniors. Snacks was on that list. Steveson was not.

There is precedent: In 2012, the top 2 overall recruits on everyone's board were Tsirtsis and Taylor Massa. I don't recall either even taking a visit.

Good point. Snacks is a lock IMO. Given the fact that his two older brothers are a part of the program. I don't see him blazing his own trail especially with the access and familiarity with the program he has and will continue to have due to his brothers being on the team. That said, if he were not in play I could easily see PSU landing Gable, especially with his friendship with Hall. That would have a lot to do with it, similar to Lee & Teasdale.

I give nobody the "edge" over Cael. Sorry.

If all other things were equal, I might agree with this. However, in this case the other factors are not "equal", not even close. In fact, they are rather gigantic obstacles for PSU or any school other than Okie St.

Is it me or does Bo look bigger in that shot? Any other rumors substantiated having him go up in weigh this year?

Not just you. I had the same observation about Nickal, immediately.
