But you spend your time on a PSU football blog talking about wasting your time? The logic is the product is getting worse so why should I bother?
I can do what I want with my time . You say fan, I say sucker.

I will. Enjoy whatever cheese you are having with your whine.Enjoy the show.
Why? What's the point? You want my loyalty , show me loyalty . It's business for everyone including me any more.
They don't deserve my loyalty or support .
Thanks for giving me another reason to pass on watching this game.
But did he quit on the team worse than bourbon n blues quit on it?He quit on the team worse than Salvucci quit on Ampipe
But did he quit on the team worse than bourbon n blues quit on it?
I'd agree to that and might watch that .Get rid of all the worthless bowls 8 team playoff and that’s it
When they want your money are you part of it? When you've paid dues for over a generation are you part of it? When you have a degree from the school and one of your children graduated are you part of it? When her mother also attended are you part of it.If you weren't actually part of something, can you quit on it?
I'd agree with that. Remove the big business sports from college and set up pro leagues. Fund sports that are easier to pay for, more traditional Olympic sports.Maybe the NCAA should have stopped the BS narrative of it being an amateur sport instead of a big business years ago.
Please share a screen shot of the letter that PSU sent to you demanding your loyalty! I would love to see it. You have the right to bitch because they aren't going to play in the game, just as they have the right to sit out a meaningless game to avoid injury. Why? What's the point? Don't try to sell me loyalty when you're not returning it.
Oh lord , seriously ? I don't like the product anymore . I'm doing what's best for me. Satisfy you . If the games are meaningless, why even play them ?Please share a screen shot of the letter that PSU sent to you demanding your loyalty! I would love to see it. This and last season were pretty meaningless if you use your metric. What's the point? Pay Franklin 9 million a year? Have the whole team and staff get a few guys to the nfl?

The word gets tossed around a lot but loyalty to major college programs means give us money, don't complain .Penn State Football: National poll says (almost) no other school has better fan experience
"It's hard to find a more loyal fan base than the students and alumni at Penn State."amp.ydr.com
The more it's obviously about money , the less some are interested .
But sports fans are a weird breed. They'll accept what they get and beg for more. I like the game better from the 70s-90s. My interest in sports waned since then overall . It's finally reached a tipping point with psu football. I liked it because it was different than the pro game .
I still will watch wrestling that hasn't changed much. Football has.
You know, though, I wonder when this idea is going to start infecting the pro game.... If you have a player who is going to become a free agent the next season, perhaps he "opts out" of the regular season for his current team, once they are out of the playoffs.
You occasionally see questions about this in European soccer. There, soon to be free agents can sign a contract for the next season with their new team before the current season ends. That's led to clear conflicts of interest, especially when the old team is playing the new team in a cup competition--there were two cases on my favorite team where transferring players missed the deciding PK's in two diiferent shootouts against their new team. Even if it's totally on the up and up (I saw no reason to believe otherwise), it still has to mess with a player's head.
Free agents are incentivized to perform well if they want a better future contract. In many (not all) cases, bowl game performance has little impact on future contracts. You know, though, I wonder when this idea is going to start infecting the pro game.... Yes, but the last game of a season? Not likely to have a big impact on free agency. Might happen....Free agents are incentivized to perform well if they want a better future contract. In many (not all) cases, bowl game performance has little impact on future contracts.
NFL can put incentives in the contracts for number of games played. You know, though, I wonder when this idea is going to start infecting the pro game....
