SIAP: Josh Allen's "performance"

Is Josh Allen the next CHristian Hackenberg? Another big guy with a very inaccurate (albeit a cannon) arm... being touted as a #1 draft pick? [And granted, Christian's star had waned long before the draft and, even so, only fell so far as the 2nd round.]

I guess after Wentz' stardom the mission is to find a clone or something.. but the kind of "performance" Allen delivered would scare the bejeebers out of me if I were a fan of the team selecting him with the first pick in the draft (and that all but assures it will be the Browns, lol).

BTW, this is not a knock on Christian at all... I love all the kid did for us and think he's a great young man and I wish him a fantastic life. That said, he had/has limitations as a QB.

Drafting QBs high is somewhat of a crapshoot. For every Peyton Manning there seems to be a Ryan Leaf.

Inaccurate, throws short too hard (and on hop)... aside from that?

Hackenberg isn't a bad comparison. I went to a couple Wyoming games live this year --- he was inconsistent. Some next-level throws mixed in with some awful throws. Almost like a random-number generator.
