SIAP - Penn State's Whiteout Win over Michigan on Saturday was in front of a Beaver Stadium record crowd of 110,823.

Penn State Wrestling hosted three very important recruits.

Hats off to Chickenman Testa for his well written post on the McAndrew Board. Here it is again, for those who may not have seen it.

Enjoy! ;)

It also helped our Wrestling recruiting, but Cael doesn’t need much help in that area.

The gentlemen pictured below from left to right are:

Roman Bravo-Young: 2017 commit and #1/2 lightweight from Arizona

Kurt McHenry - prospect from Maryland - #1 at his weight and world freestyle champ

Aaron Brooks - prospect also from Maryland - #2 at his weight (#1 is a PSU verbal), and also a world freestyle champ.

Imagine it like 3 Micah Parsons lined up together - just smaller

OUTSTANDING PIC....We need to put this in our room. Feel Brooks and Mcenry are very smart Young Men and will come join the DYNASTY. Cael and this staff are 2nd to NONE on and off the mat !!!! I won't even get into the GREATS in our room....WOW #SIMPLY SICK !

Second visit for Brooks in four weekends. He may be just starting to explore his options, but you gotta like the fact he came back for a second time.

Nice, but the real question of course is whether or not any of them are beating beating Nico in the room yet? We know it's just a matter of time. It's amazing to me that Nico enjoyed the stellar career he had as often as he gets beat in the Penn State room. It must have been very discouraging for him, but give him credit, he persevered.

Lol. Nico is da man...Will be great workout partner along with many others for McHenry....Brooks will have a ton of ELITE guys to work with as well....

Thanks for always being an ambassador for the team Spyker. I believe your motives are pure even though your methodology and research seem to be questionable at times.

I would love for all 3 to attend PSU, they are all studs!! I do wish I saw smiles on their faces however so I could blissfully pretend they were ready to sign the NLI right at that moment.

Don't all researchers do their best work on the throne and then memorialize their results on toilet paper?

McHenry is going to be a very special talent! hope we land them, the atmosphere at Saturdays game had to help!

I don't know. I was ridiculed on the Rutgers board for suggesting that having their recruits at the Rutgers/Ohio State football game, if you can call it that, was a bad thing - that seeing Rutgers losing 35-0 at the half and having the stands 3/4 empty for the second half might hurt some of the recruits' enthusiasm. I was informed in no uncertain terms that it made zero difference.

I heard that Seth Nevills was there with his parents too. What an awesome way to sell the school to potential recruits and convince the guys who have already committed that they made the right choice. Where else would you see a wrestling team acknowledged in front of 110,800 sports fans? Sanderson owes one to Coach Franklin!

True! Lots of fun! Incredible atmosphere!

yea, bet he has to hold back the urge to jump on that field in front of that crowd!

When I got scoffed at on the Rutgers board, I figured it was just crazy speaking. Mr. Brooks, since you are closer to the recruits' mindset, if Penn State's football team had gotten embarrassed like Rutgers' did at the hands of Ohio State and Beaver Stadium were 3/4 empty in the second half, would the event be, to a potential recruit, a big negative, a minor negative or no problem whatsoever?

Does it really matter?? (no pun intended) I'm sure everyone is different and has their own opinions of a football game they attend, not to mention all of the other things they take into consideration when making their decision. Mr Brooks can't speak for recruits except maybe his own and it's unfair to put him on the spot like that. This a Spyker-like question in my opinion.

You'll have to crack a joke for Kurt to smile. I've had the pleasure of coaching him on our National Dual teams since he was in 7th grade. The only way I got a semi-smile was when I teased him for taking too long of his technical fall and asked him, "Why it took him so long?". He's a super quiet kid, unless he knows you. The exact opposite of Bo Nickal.

Fun fact: That team had Kurt, Beard, JR Wert, Malcolm Robinson, Blake Barrick, Mark Salvatore and Chris Hisey (Navy commit) amongst others. We were missing multiple weights and still took 4th at the Wildwood duals. Lost to team Ohio, who had Rocky Jordan and others on it.

Yeah, not to dogpile, but IMO, Mr. Brooks has already gone "above and beyond" with the info he has provided here. I am grateful for that and would not push for anything more (and most certainly not for the purpose of justifying one's own position taken against that of members from another forum).

Jesus, man. I was just curious. But due to concerns, I deleted the post. So, yeah, you're piling on unnecessarily.

changing your name again will not get you out of this WFL debacle. Good try though

I was half right. Said he'd change his handle soon but thought it would be PSU-Dynasty.

BTW, does this make Cowbell a Fake Lion?
