Strangely enough, there are lions in India.

Never forget the time one of my patients who owned an animal rescue/habitat actually brought his "little kitty" to my office, and let me hold this 8wk old 75+lb. kitten who proceeded to lick me up and down with that sand paper tongue!!!
Amazingly, the father of this Siberian cub was >800lbs...he said closer to 900lbs...hard to fathom that.

^^Not entirely true. Tigers have been filmed hunting in small groups. Usually 2 - 4. That is a myth now but yes, since lions hunt in prides, u are correct. (Strictly a numbers game)
