Some here know this, for those who don't, my grandpap had a very nice relationship with Joe, Spider and many of the other coaches. Joe would invite him to practice every summer and he would give haircuts to everyone in the equipment room. He was a barber in McKees Rocks, PA for over 50 years.
He passed away in December of 2013. Other than watching Psu, he loved to bowl and this December my family is hosting an event in his name to raise money for pancreatic cancer.
We want to raffle off some signed sports memorabilia to raise money without having to buy a lot of it, so more profits go to cancer research. Does anyone know the best way to get in touch with athletes, coaches, teams? I know some ppl mail items to ppl and with some shipping money included they will return what you sent
