Sinead O'Connor... dead at 56.

It's hard to escape our upbringing. No matter how well our intentions are. Outside looking in...nah. I'm not going to judge.
To keep it short, here is just one example of why I feel the way I do from some years ago:
https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrit...or-to-her-kids-exes-youre-dead-to-me-w158627/

Key text:
"In return, O’Connor had some things to say to her four kids including her sons Jake, 28, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, 8, and her daughter, Roisin, 19. “You’re dead to me. You killed your mother.”

Look at that again, when two of the kids were only 11 years old and 8 years old at the time.

...After my daughter died I absolutely did. In the end we live for our son...
All I'll say is I am sorry for your loss and leave it at that. I am glad you found inner strength for your son's sake.

I'm not saying that you are wrong. If anything, I believe she's probably one of those people who should not have had kids...

Yeah...while a great artist, she had a lot of "issues". This seems to be fairly consistent with great artists and so many of them die young. While she hammered the Catholic Church, and rightly so for many reasons back in 1991, she wasn't much better.

Ringo Starr wrote, "you've got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues and you know that don't come easy".

It seems that the incidence rate for sexual abuse is amongst the highest in the hollywood elite circles. I'm not thanking them for anything.
I've seen stats that suggest the number 1 event for child sexual trafficking is the Super Bowl. Seems sports fans are as bad as catholic clergy! 😢

The Superbowl is more of a social event for the elite which includes many Hollywood and politically connected types. The average Superbowl ticket price last year was over $6000. The hotel rooms get jacked up to thousands of dollars per night. With food and travel, the cost of attending the Superbowl is well over $10k per person.

Sports fans get together with their friends and host Superbowl parties. Attending the Superbowl is for the rich and that is why child sex trafficking is there.

Yep.

When we had the NBA all star game my wife had a client that got caught with stolen credit cards. They were given to her by her ‘handler’. She was taking guys back to the hotel room which she tried to pay for with her stolen cards. She was from Florida but turned out to be an illegal alien from Haiti. She wouldn’t flip on her handler due to hearing for her life. My wife got her probation and couldn’t understand why the prosecutor was ok with that plea. Upon release she had two ICE agents awaiting where they deported her back to Haiti

So with the all star game were lots Of events, concerts, and executives. Also a lot of product marketing (players who repped for them), agents, financial advisors, and VC types (people looking for investment money for their VC) and so on. Basically, tons of hangers on who could get meetings while everyone was in the same city.

Most were dudes, away from home, and drunk/high. From there it is easy to do the math

I never hated John Paul but outside of being anti-communist he was really not a good guy. He didn't give a s--- about children being raped or women being imprisoned for life. Before you defend Papal control of civilian life, why don't you read about Tuam. And consider that Ireland, under Catholic control, had places like Tuam all over the country. Would you want to live under that?

And as a father of 3 I totally agree that children growing up without fathers (or mothers) is sad -- for the kids and the fathers. But turning your country over to a Catholic theocracy doesn't do anything to solve that problem. Human beings still have sex, unwanted children are still born (a lot more of them if you ban birth control as Ireland did). And if you're a poor backward country you have no resources to handle all the unwanted children, so you let them die of hunger and disease in warehouses like Tuam and bury them in mass graves.
And have YOU read about Tuam. Based upon your tone, I suspect you have bought into a line of BS that was debunked by some simple research.

Let's hope Sinead has found the peace that eluded her in life. What a beautiful voice she had.
