Asked this long ago, but can anyone recommend one? Not sure about the ones with white noise. Think i would really like rain, ocean, waterfall, nature sounds, etc.
Thanks

Turn on you television to the National Geo channel, I don’t sleep well but find myself relaxing and dozing off all the time!

Why not use the sleep timer on your phone? Load some nature sounds from youtube and it’ll shut off when the timer ends. Maybe connect it to a bluetooth speaker if you don’t like the quality of sound from your phone? Pretty easy to setup on an iphone and i’m sure there are similar apps on android.

Alexa. You can get an Amazon Echo for about $20. She can play ocean, rain on roof, all kinds of sounds.

I always fall asleep at the midway point of each episode of “The Curse of Oak Island”, then wake up afraid that I might have missed them actually finding something of note.

I first read of Oak Island back in the 60s, my parents subscribed to Reader’s Digest. I think that’s the same way one of the brothers first heard about the island.

I hope they solve at least some of the mystery before I die. (If they had more episodes they’d solve the mystery a lot more quickly.....:D)

Alexa is probably one of the best choices. The Ambient Noise skill works great and you can mix multiple sounds. I recommend pink noise mixed with waterfall.

I think they found a piece of wood once, and it looked pretty old.

Might it be that this was from an old ship? And if so, might it be a ship that was from europe? And if so, could that ship have been carrying a treasure? Marty and Rick Lagina, along with famed treasure hunter Gary Drayton, think it is possible!

Next week, they use a backhoe.

There are several sleep sounds on the various streamed music channels like pandora, spotify, apple and amazon. there are hundreds of them. Many people plug their phone into a charger/bluetooth player and go to sleep while the phone charges.

Some other things to consider for a good nights sleep
1. Temp- ideal is around 67 degrees or so
2. minimize tv and computer screens prior to bedtime, very stimulating
3. dark room, make sure your lighted clock is angled away from you, and your phone screen is off.
