This is all a great showcase of the key difference between the United States and the rest of the world.. we have elections every two years that allow us to change course when "leaders" such as these have been able to consolidate power within our government. Basically, nothing they are doing is for the long-term stability of the United States or the general good of the American people. And they aren't fooling anybody about it.

I don't think the Founding Fathers are turning over in their graves right now, but rather would take great pride in the system they helped create which allows for the people to peacefully change the direction our nation is taking.

2022 and 2024 will be pivotal election cycles to hopefully see this bear out.

That's true but it's dependent on the elections not being rigged. We need to go back to hand counted paper ballots, cleaning voter rolls, and voter ID then we would have control again.
