I’m at Heinz Field for tonight’s Borussia Dortmund-Benfica match. My wife is from PITTSBURGH. :eek: , so we took some time to drive around this afternoon. oakland is still a dump. Did they fire the people who were supposed to clean it up? :eek:

The dahntahn area is great. The rivers, bridges, Mt. Washington, Inclines, etc. make Pittsburgh one of the beautiful cities in the U.S. Vastly underrated.

As for Heinz Field, they have a giant pitt 2018 banner hanging on the side near Gate A. The ASS. BEATING. :eek: at the hands of Penn State is not far off.

My wife and I will stay for a couple of days to see friends. Maybe we’ll hit Primanti Bros. :eek:

The view of Pittsburgh as you go through the tunnel from the south and see the city explode into view ahead of you rivals the view of San Francisco as you come out of the tunnel in Marin County approaching the Golden Gate Bridge.

Truly two of the most beautiful vistas in the USA!

Regarding Pittsburgh, I believe you are referring to the Fort Pitt Tunnel. Awesome view.

Pulisic had one dazzling possession going around and through defenders that got the crowd oohing and ahhing. Unfortunately, his pass in front of the goal was just out of reach of a teammate and went out of bounds for a goal kick.
 
It’s a nice morning here in Pittsburgh. My wife and I will head aht in a little while to find a coffee shop. I am feeling particularly bankrupt morally today, as I have selected a 409 shirt for the day’s excursion into panther hell. Granted, there a lot of morally bankrupt folks like me in Allegheny County, so I should be fine.

I’m not sure what the day will bring beyond scones, lattes, and endless heckling of my shirt-pronounced culture problem. Maybe a ride on the Duquense Incline and taking in the views from the top.

Where to get lunch? Eat’n Park? Primanti Bros.? Sheetz? :eek:
