i was watching this last night as kids were talking about how frightened they are and staying up at night because the world will end in their life time. It was amazing to watch that they were that scared.
So two things. Teachers need to stop scaring the crap out of kids.
Second, from the late 1950s to 1980s we had a threat of a nuclear holocaust and were prepared to duck under the desk, get in the hallway, etc.
I don’t think that we were having support groups etc for that.
So it was interesting to watch to say the least.
