On or before 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 15, 2022, the Government shall file a Response to the Motion to Unseal,” wrote U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Wednesday afternoon, referring to the Department of Justice.

“The response may be filed ex parte and under seal as necessary to avoid disclosing matters already under seal. In that event, the Government shall file a redacted Response in the public record. If it chooses, the Government may file a consolidated Response to all Motions to Seal,” he wrote.

Neither the FBI nor Justice Department has issued public comments about the raid, which was first confirmed by Trump on Monday evening.

The FBI declined to comment when contacted by The Epoch Times, and the Justice Department has not responded to several requests for comment.

I don’t want to live in a world where the fbi, in cahoots a liberal judge, can search a home without showing the warrant or justifying the decision

Does anyone else get the feeling this is turning into a real sh!t show for the Democrats???? Seems like this Epstein Judge is starting to cave.

When you start to get guys like Andrew Cuomo, Chris Cuomo, and Andrew Yang criticizing the raid, and Schumer seeming to treat it like a dead skunk, you get the feeling things are about to fall apart.

Whoever this so called “mole” was seemed to be useless. Trump had already been complying with all the subpoenas. Instead of cutting legal corners with the raid and ripping things apart, and possibly finding nothing, why not just issue a subpoena and get what you want??? Makes no sense unless you are trying to plant evidence or bug the place.

Or, of course, they may have thought Trump had evidence, not against Trump, but against higher ups in the FBI or Government that would be incriminating if Trump ever needed to use it.

If this thing gets traced back to the White House, which it very well might (either way, Biden is either complicit, or clueless and being controlled by outside forces), all heck will break loose.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this ends up being the drop dead dumbest, stupidest, most insane political stunt of all time.

You mean country I’d say. In other countries they do this .
The old Soviet Union for one example.

From someone who saw it first hand:

Indiana Republican Who Was Born In The USSR Blasts FBI Trump Raid As ‘KGB-Style Tactics’

“As a U.S. Congresswoman who grew up in the USSR, the FBI raid of President Trump’s home is alarming. It is reminiscent of KGB-style tactics,” Spartz told the Epoch Times. Spartz was born in Nosivka, in the Chernihiv region of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, now in independent Ukraine.

FBI agents from the Washington Field Office raided the former president’s home on Monday reportedly in search of classified documents he may have removed from the White House. Trump himself said the FBI’s actions signaled the country was declining into the political instability commonly associated with developing nations…

Spartz made an appeal for Americans to look beyond partisanship and recognize the threat that political persecution poses to the political system, saying “[r]egardless of people’s feelings about President Trump, this should not be acceptable in a democratic society.”

Ya know, what if Trump arranged this. And the "informant" just led the FBI into a trap?

Trump has a copy of the Warrant and can reveal the contents of it anytime he wants.
This little stunt will go no where since the DOJ/FBI have an active criminal investigation ongoing.

The Epoch Times is a far-right international multi-language newspaper and media company affiliated with the Falun Gong new religious movement. The newspaper, based in New York City, is part of the Epoch Media Group, which also operates New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television. The Epoch Times has websites in 35 countries but is blocked in mainland China.

The entire family is saying they didn't get a copy. I guess you know better, though.

This ^^^^ post won't age well.
You mean like all the posts saying Trump colluded with Russia, Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation and Biden never talked about Hunter's business dealings, this inflation is transitory, the border wall is racist, we need sanctuary cities, Biden's mental health is just fine, defunding the police won't lead to skyrocketing crime, shutting down pipelines won't lead to skyrocketing fuel costs, Putin Price Hike...

None of those happened...at least if you listened to the LIBTARDS on this board!

Ahhh right. You know Trump has the warrant right? If it was going to be egg on the fbi's face then he would have publicly released it. He hasn't so that means the information in that warrant is not beneficial to him.
He‘s a sociopath, no feelings, principles or concern for anyone else. He was probably planning to sell classified documents to other countries or use them for blackmail purposes. Why else would he want to keep them? I could understand if he destroyed them, but it’s the only logical conclusion.

They are known liars. The attorneys have said they have a copy. AG Garland has moved to have the whole thing unsealed/made public if Trump says that can happen.
Ball in Trump corner now. He can show exactly why he claims he is being picked on.

The message the DOJ and FBI already sent is that it is better to just destroy the material and/or devices. Ask Hillary.

She destroyed 33,000 emails under subpoena and she smashed about 13 devices. She lied about all of it, set up a private server in her home! What happened to her?

Funny that her mishandling of those documents would have been a misdemeanor if she was charged. Thankfully Trump got it changed to a felony and 3 years in prison. That may have been his dumbest move ever. And that is saying a lot.

Forget about the penalty for erasing 33,000 emails, the MUCH larger liability is what was contained in those emails.

So why was the warrant sealed in the first place and why does Garland have pretend it's a difficult task to unseal it?

Nope. Trump is an egomaniac.

Biden is the sociopath. (Ask his daughter.). He doesn't care at all about what his party is doing to the middle and lower parts of our society. He just wants to be a significant name in history.

Trump wants what is truly good for America, because that accomplishment feeds his ego.

Biden just wants a statue and his name in history books. He is a classic grifter.

Trump prefers to actually build something.

Biden is a destroyer -- tax, regulate, and redistribute to those that keep you in power.

The difference is blatantly obvious.

Egomaniacs are awesome if they are working for you and their goal is to deliver because it feeds their ego.
How many sports greats were like that?

You're another one that doesn't understand warrants. If he could release it, then why is the Attorney General asking a judge to do so? They get the first page, the one with the judge's signature.

The AG says Trump has a copy of the warrant and can release it at any time. The AG has filed a motion, asking a judge for the okay to release the warrant. Trump has the ability to object.
which he will object, just like the tax returns, it won't make him look good. that is not good for duping the cult from donating

It looks like the the AG is attempting to get it released since Trump refuses to do so and is lying about even having possession of the warrant. If Trump blocks the AG from releasing it then he can longer lie about not knowing what is in the warrant.
