Fine with me, good luck at 33 then next year against Clark, Richards, Cortez, and everyone else, with whoever you guys want to throw out there, including your incoming kid. You'll need it.
You say this as if a sure fire All American is left waiting in the wings with NaTo staying put... And would be unleashed if Tomasello moved up??
Since there isn't, what you're implying is pretty redundant considering there would be just as much uncertainty, if not more, left behind at 125 with NaTo hypothetically bumping up to 133 vs the 133 weight class opening that as you said....I'll "need luck with". ( if Nate stays put).
So what's your point?? I also don't understand your logic in saying without question 'that kid OSU is bringing in at 133' will struggle and need all the luck as you surmised , but somehow , the top names in the class you threw out included Cortez!??
Your crystal ball has Cortez as a lock to produce, but foresees an inevitable struggle seemingly for what OSU would be left to produce at 133 without Nate!?
That kid OSU is bringing in (Luke Pletcher) is a top 10 recruit in the country, not some lineup filler. Cortez has the EXACT same amount of wins as Pletcher.. ZERO. For you to dismiss Pletcher's potential contribution and assume your own is simply comical.
I'm assuming your basing this on Cortez beating Conoway, but automatically assume a top 10 recruit in the country and top at his weight couldn't feasibly do the same in beating a top 6 guy at his weight!?
NO ONE is a sure thing, everyone knows this. But I can promise you this, Luke Pletcher has as good a shot as anyone in doing so. Cortez hasn't proven anything, yet.
Arguing what he did unattached under the dim lights is foolish. Cortez's name belongs just as far as Pletcher's does when mentioning the top kids at 133 next year, nowhere near, and that will remain the same until one or both prove it on the mat....when it counts.
