We lost Shoop, and promoted Pry. Played some musical job titles with other coaches. But after all the dust settled, we are minus 1 coach. Means that Franklin can add 1. "Technically" the open spot is a "Safety Coach". But that of coarse can change. Pry can switch from LB to Safeties, IF we wanted to hire a dedicated LB Coach. Terry Smith could just be the DB Coach, instead of just Cornerbacks. And that would leave the flexibility to hire a coach on either side.
I'm assuming this will most likely be a young, rising star in the coaching ranks.
Any ideas???
Personally, I would love to see the staff add a "brand name". There has to be some young 30-35 year old ex-player who is maybe coaching down at a lower level program?? For recruiting, kids love to relate to a guy who played the game, and a name they recognize.
