I said it before but I'll say it again: CJF has come of age as a top HC. IMO it happened after the Iowa W. (For whatever reasons.) And it is visible in his most recent press conferences, on TV for all to see. The guy is calm cool and collected. He's far more at ease with things. He is far less hyper and agitated. And I think it comes across to his staff and players. IMO he has achieved a major goal ( Team Oneness?) and feels he is ahead of the curve, and sitting in a very comfortable place.
When you feel you have arrived, and established yourself, you can see it reflected back by those around you. So he is now carrying the heavy burdens of his position far more easily, with grace and style. He uses understatement to make points ( which I like.) And takes drama out of the equation, reshaping drama into preparation and confidence.
I believe CJF is indeed in a very good place right now. Im glad to see it. The effort put in has been massive. And the results are starting to show, in far more ways than one.
