Somewhere, Paul Finebaum is weeping copiously.

Finebaum is horrible but Alabama is still right in it. Michigan needs to score again but they can't pass.

Never got the Funebaum thing. There are dozens of homer radio radio hosts in every city. What warranted a spot on ESPN for him? I’ve only briefly listened to him, when I couldn’t change the TV quickly enough, but never heard him bring insightful commentary to the table. Just a weird hire, like he was somebody important’s uncle.

The show is not Finebaum. The show is the wacky Auburn vs Alabama callers and what will they say next.

Jesus! Michigan sucks, too! This is perfect in so many ways....

Michigan was terrible in this game and only won because of Bama mistakes/turnovers. SMU wasn’t a great team this season either but I think there’s plenty of evidence that Bama wasn’t really deserving of a playoff spot.

I think a 12 spot CFP is probably a more of less ideal number as those 10-16 type teams aren’t really good enough to be contenders so you manage to include all the actual worthy teams while making the cutoff a spot where any team arguing they were ignored would have controlled their own destiny by not losing a game they “shouldn’t have”.

The best thing about that game is that one of these two fan fanatic teams had to lose !!!

OMG the Illinois South Carolina game with the substitutions and coaches taunting about it
