Spanier statement in response to Josh

Shapiro needs to quit while he’s ahead...let it go and stop wasting public money on a false narrative.

I wish Curley and Schultz had taken the same tact as Spanier...like him (them) or not, there was never any evidence presented that a coverup took place at State.

While I agree with the intent of your post... They didn't plead guilty to the coverup charges, those were dismissed. They plead guilty to endangering the welfare of children.

Honest to goodness reading about all this stuff, it’s as though Pennsylvania and Illinois are in a “duel to the death” as to which state government is the most pathetic and the most corrupt. Maybe the states could somehow merge and get some economy of scale.....although the scales of justice might never improve in our lifetimes.

Was their guilty plea the same one that just got thrown out against Spanier? I don't blame those guys. They have been thru with the case for a couple years. For us bystanders it would have been nice to see everything get tossed.

The truth - I grew up in one (IL) and live in the other - can't wait to get out of PA.
