Ok, can we clear it up? If Lee qualifies for the Olympics can he still come back for 2021-2022? Are both of his legs acl? Is Just one? Does he need surgery? If so can he still return because isn't that usually 9 to 12 months? Is he getting surgery after the trials? What is going on here lol?

Yes Lee can use his last year of eligibility even if he makes the Olympic team. He also has a normal redshirt available.

My dog had this done........maybe Spencer can get it too. 6 week turn around :)

I wonder if he will do more of the Kyle Snyder style next year if he wrestles. Couple big duals plus BIG and NCAA. It isn't like he needs all of the matches and honestly in most duals Iowa doesn't need him to win. He can still be a 4x without as much extra taxing on his body.

Any answers to these questions (other than #2, that's "yes") will either be based on what Spencer said in his post-match interviews or 100% speculation.

We don't actually know the extent of his injuries, what will be necessary to repair them, or how long the rehab will be. Some people will spend 100,000 words discussing it, but none of us have any actual information.
