He has coached at both Texas and USC, both of which are as fertile recruiting areas as anywhere, probably better. What has he done so far? Not much, but he seems to get much better press than James Franklin

Does he? I feel like he's seen as a bigger underachiever than James.
If he would have lost that game he would have taken a ton of heat

He was barely at USC. Texas was not very good when he took over and he has them in the final 4 in year 3 and 4.

No one has asked him why he lost that huge lead to a one man (sort of) team.

That's why you have to put your foot on the underdogs throat when you can. They are a plucky bunch.

Good to see McClain have some success there. He was set to RS until injuries forced them to play him (although he might still have preserved his RS). He's the same guy, look great one play, false start or drop the next.

Much easier to do when NIL can buy you an entire OLine in one fell swoop like Texas did.

I do give him credit for finally pulling UT out of their mind-boggling post Mack Brown doldrums. But there is no program with more built in advantages than Texas

Ewers is not good enough to score enough points against the Bucks. A motivated Ohio State will handle them
If Ewers isn't good enough are we just giving Ohio State the title at this point? Ewers is better than Leonard or Stockton
We already saw our WRs can't create separation against their corners.

I think a motivated Georgia D is still the biggest obstacle to Ohio State. As long as Stockton just plays game manager, I think the Dawgs are good enough.

I think GA stymies ND tomorrow.

Fair--I can go along with that. Smart's the best coach left so if anyone's going to stop them it's probably Georgia
Rooting for the Dawgs tomorrow--just hate ND

No matter who our HC is we will not get the best of coverage that's just life for us.

Just as we have to beat 11 players on the field on any play the opposition always 7 extra players at all times, they are called officials.
