I am blown away by all the negativity and fall out over the commitment of an unknown under the radar type player. All the star gazers and camp counselors on this site that do nothing but watch kids 1on1s... listen to people like ryan and phil tell you they are great or bad or whatever (which they do a great job at)...but those arent the only good players in the country.. Just because a kid doesnt go to a camp every weekend and talk to ryan and do the whole recruiting circus doesnt mean they arent players.

Maybe some kids would rather work over the summer or play baseball or whatever. The point is camps and people on a forum about penn state knowing who you are has nothing to do with being a good football player.

With that being said this just shows that the coaches are really working hard and it isnt just an act. They arent just watching camps and checking the top 250 lists, they are doing their homework and looking everywhere for talent.

There has already been enough said about journey brown on here so this isnt entirely about him its about the process and building a team. Yes it would be good to be bama or florida st and get 5 star after 4star stud backs but its great being penn state and finding a trace mcsorley or paul posluszny. Under rated and kids with chips on the shoulder are dangerous.

The coaches are on their way to building a monster. And journey brown may not be the missing link but he should be fun to watch
