Upon further review, Pickett is an unfortunate qb name.
Pickett is always off when he is playing a good team. In college and in the NFL he has yet to play a decent game against a quality opponent. He fattens up his stats against cupcakes and then thumps his chest about his fine stats. Pickett is a stiff and will be an XFL backup QB two years from now.
I will find it very amusing tomorrow morning listening to the Pittsburgh sports loud mouths crying complaining about Pitt and the Steelers sucking.
Pickett is no Bradshaw or Rothlisberger. Anyone thinking he is = deluded.
Brock Purdy - last pick in 2022 draft. This guy is so much better than 2022 first round Pickett. Way to pick ‘em Steelers!
Tomlin got enamored with Pickett, who he saw and spoke with regularly for several years.
The FAN boys were predicting Super Bowl, just goes to show pre season is meaningless in terms of predicting what teams are good.
I wish I had scheduled something down here tomorrow just to listen. I always got the feeling that most of the hosts have accepted that Pitt is going to suck most of the time. There will be much wailing about the Steelers dismal performance.
And nobody will be happier than the Pirates management, cause at least the fact that they suck will be a back burner issue.
That was a horrible performance today. Hopefully he is better than that and he just had a bad day. A few more games like that and he is going to be benched.
Can't believe how off he was today. Really slow making reads and the most inaccurate I've seen him so far in his young career. I had flashbacks to the Dobbs era.
