Yeah, both seemed like nice kids, good teammates. This an interesting signing.
As much as I hate Michigan, I always liked Devin Gardner and Denard Robinson. Kids were recruited to play one style of offense, stuck with the team/switched positions, and always gave it their all.
I agree. I didn't like Denard Robinson but when I saw all the punishment he took during that OT game vs. Penn State in 2013 and still bounced back and played hard, he showed real leadership. From that point on, I really liked Denard. He seems like a stand up guy to me looking on from the outside. There goes the neighborhood.

This reminds me of another QB/WR signing a few years back... a kid out of Indiana... Antoine Randal-El
This could lead to some interesting play calling, and it gives The Steelers another option if Big Ben were to do down.

^^^ThisDevin Gardner is no Randle El. Not even close. Randel El was a phenomenal athlete playing QB (mostly option QB). Gardner was a lesser athlete playing dropback QB. He may get a shot at WR/TE, but he does not have the wheels/quickness of Randle El. Randle El was one of the best players I have seen play in Beaver Stadium. He seemed like he juked out all 11 players on defense some plays.
