at times like this, unless you have real information to share, or you are just adding flammable trash to a dumpster fire.
Most of us come here for information, insight, contructive and intelligent conversation, and yes, sometimes to just vent or express an opinion. At times when bad news comes in bunches, which it does in all aspect of life, expression of pure opinion or speculation on this board seems to degenerate into finger pointing, name calling, challenges to others' pedigree, and all of the things I expect of a bunch of sPitt fans. Not everyone of course, but enough to ruin the experience for everyone who comes here to find out what is going on, not who can think of the most imaginative insults.
Once things die down, bar conversation once again will become less volatile, and easy to cruise through without raising blood pressure. I know I could just put some people on ignore, but I have to say that all but a small handful have insight or comment I find valuable, and would not want to miss because they go over the top from time to time. And those few I know to ignore all by myself without a machine to do it for me.
