Sterling Jenkins strikes me as the type of kid who we’ll be hearing about down the road for what he does outside of football. I think he’s mentioned that he wants to be a writer.

His dance stomp to Sheck Wes after Iowa win was worth his scholarship. Never like getting guys that tall but wish him the best. Seems like a great kid and getting the education. Kudos to him!

I hope he gets his second degree. I always hoped he would be able to show the people who referred to him as a b__t that they were wrong. People with strong educational attainment can never be considered in those terms.

I’m pretty sure if he was referred to as a bust it was only in football terms. I don’t know that I’ve seen anybody over four years make any kind of negative personal statement about him.

It’s actually pretty sad how they bash kids that don’t want to stay in that city. And it’s not like Narduzzi has this great reputation for developing homegrown talent - Hamlin and Ford are wasting away in that program. And whatever happened to that 4-star TE from OH?

Best wishes Big Man and thanks for your contributions in the classroom and to the team. People forget that these are kids and not every player is destined for an NFL playing career. I hope he enjoys his next chapter and what follows after that.

The kid from Steubenville quit the day before training camp started and didn’t show up to campus. He transferred to Youngstown State, IIRC.
