Steve Bartman receives 2016 Cubs WS Championship ring

In a gesture of reconciliation, Cubs owner Tom Ricketts has awarded Steve Bartman a 2016 Chicago Cubs world series championship ring. I think it is entirely appropriate given the way Bartman was treated after the infamous foul ball incident in 2003. Bartman obviously has a right to privacy, but I think it would be very interesting to hear what he has to say if one day he feels comfortable enough to be able to speak publicly about his whole ordeal.

Situational Awareness My Ass. It was a foul ball in the stands and 99.9% of fans would have done the exact same thing as Bartman did, as evidenced by all of the other Cubs fans trying to catch the same foul ball.
