The Buffalo game should provide a great learning experience for both players and coaches. It will hopefully serve them well in games against Iowa and Michigan State where they try to beat you in a similar fashion but with better athletes. What I really want is for RR to stop trying to close out games playing power football. It didn't work for JoMo and it hasn't worked for him, by my count they are 0 for 5 trying to close out meaningful games running inside power. It's just not something they do well, it doesn't mean you don't try and get better but relying on it in crunch time hasn't worked and it's becoming IMO a fools errand. Just run your normal offense, I'm sure people will second guess if it doesn't work out but it can't be any worse and maybe you win a few games being more unpredictable trying to close out games. Just stop banging your head against the wall expecting a different result. This team has a lot of talent, play to their strength not their weakness.

I agree, have said for years, going conservative in the 4th quarter trying to hold a lead loses a lot of football games.
But then if he opens it up in the fourth quarter with a lead and it doesn’t work, he gets criticized for not taking time off the clock...let’s face it, whatever they do is only good if it works.

So go with what works. Like I said "quit banging your head against the wall"
