Coach Stottlemyer was a really good man. RIP.

I didn't know Stottlemyer but my college roommate did. Said the coach not only looked out for his team off the mat, but also looked out for their girlfriends to make sure they were being treated right.

Good enough for me. As much fun as I've poked at Pitt, some things in life truly are more important.

I never cared for the wrestling personality of Rande's Pitt teams. Too much done while moving backwards. However, stupid shyt like last year's Midlands' "call a Hooker, get robbed, call police, forget to mention episode to administration" did not occur when he was running the program.
He also put his own time and energy into putting together the money they needed to upgrade their wrestling facility.
