I sure hope Penn State can make the Big Ten Championship sometime in the next few years and highly recommend dropping whatever you have going on that weekend and head out to Indianapolis. The Big Ten does an amazing job of organizing this event, Lucas Oil Stadium is remarkable, tons of awesome restaurants, bars, hotels. As someone said to me on Saturday after the game it will be hard to describe this weekend to someone who wasn’t here......
Now that I got that out the way PENN STATE got screwed yet again. If those 12 committee members watched that game on Saturday and did not sit back after the game and go I am not sure how we can keep this Penn State team out of the final four, then in my opinion they don’t know enough about sports! Yes they have two losses in September and they have done everything they needed to do to prove they are one of the best 4 teams in the country in the last 9 games. No other team in the final four did that except Bama. Ohio St. lost to PSU and did not win the Big Ten. Clemson lost to Pitt in November at home and Washington shit ask schedule and loss to USC in November. Ohio State should have been left out in my opinion. For the past 7 weeks all we heard how much head to head meant and conference championships. They also said they don’t look ahead and they rank their teams based on what happened in the current weekend. Well OSU did not play And Penn State won a playoff elimination game similar to in baseball of wild card teams having to win one game to move on. I can’t say it enough it should have meant more the way Penn State won that game. In my opinion they are no better teams than Penn State and Alabama in the country right now. These are mostly freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who ignored the scoreboard with 5 minutes to go in the second half. They were led by an amazing QB with the set of stones his has, his desire to win, toughness, athletic ability and accuracy. If I could pick my QB from anyone in the country. I am picking number 9 over anyone else. I should not only signal out the QB because I feel this way about every player/coach on this Penn State team especially those upperclassmen who could have bailed for other schools. They stayed and were the glue to keep the program together when the NCAA did what they always do to Penn State when the bottom could have fell out. And for those of you who did not believe in Coach Franklin it’s now time to start believing because he is the real deal. I even had my doubts at times but everything he has done since he came to Penn State has awoken the SLEEPING GIANT! They will play with a chip on their shoulder in the Rose Bowl and lookout for them in 2017!
