He will be a perfect replacement for Nico.Flo has posted a nice video interview with Suriano after he won S32. You can access it at THIS LINK.

Appreciate all the folks that stepped forward to provide coverage during the 2 days of S32.
I didn't see any of the matches, but some miscellaneous observations based on the results.
- Yianni won his 3rd high school S32, and he's only a junior. If he wins next year, he'll become the 1st 4X S32 Champion
- Really nice to see Suriano bounce back after the tourney in NY. The 126 bracket was crazy, with #1 Daton Fix, #2 Vitali Arajau, #4 Suriano, #5 Kade Gfeller, and #6 (at 132) Luke Karam. Suriano avenged his recent loss to Arajau when he bested him in the semis, and then defeated Karam in the Championship to earn OW. Suriano had gone a really long time without competing when he entered the NY tourney, so I wasn't too concerned by his loss to Arajau. Only way things could have gone better for Suriano was if Fix hadn't been upset in the semis, and Suriano had bested him in the finals
- Hayden Hidlay has been so good for the past year that it's a shock that he lost in the semis at 152. I really expected another match between Hidlay and Manville in the finals
- Manville's last 2 competitions were WNO and S32, and he won both. That's a pretty nice string, after he suffered several loses (primarily against Hidlay) over the past year.
- perhaps the best final matchup was at 182, where Nick Reenan (#1 at 195) met Dakota Geer (#1 at 182). Reenan won by a 4-3 decision
- kind of surprised that Alex Thomsen (IA) didn't make it to the 120 finals. He's been on a roll of late. Then again, he faced a PA wrestler in the semis.
- I'm still surprised that Gabe Beyer lost in the quarters
Thanks for the info, vhs.Re: Beyer. Hurt his shoulder in a football game. Hasn't really been able to go live for a bit.
